Scott Sharp has more than 10 years of public accounting experience, coupled with 10 years leading various mobile software and data companies. As the Chief Financial Officer for Pinsight, Sharp oversees the financial strategy for the company and manages the day-to-day operations including accounting, finance, human resources, and project management.
Sharp began his career as a CPA for a public accounting firm before joining a mobile software start-up company called Handmark, which was acquired by Pinsight in 2013. He played an integral role in securing two rounds of investment and the acquisition of four companies while at Handmark.
Under his financial direction, Handmark was the first company inducted into the Kansas City Business Journal’s Hall of Champions, after being recognized for outstanding financial growth three years in a row.
Scott is a CPA and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from William Jewell College.
